Elva Dahle-Obit
Elva Mae Dahle,85,of the Rouse Home and formerly of 108 Oak Street.,died at 8 AM Monday ,March 30,1981 at the Rouse Home where she had been a resident for the last four years.
Born December 15,1895 in Upper Redclyffe,Forest County,the daughter of the late Guard and Margaret Eck Hulings lived for many years in Stoneham.She was a member of the Stoneham United Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid Society and the Stoneham Community House.
She is survived by two daughters,Mrs. Martin (Geraldine)Smith of Warren and Mrs.Harold (Virginia)Cawley of Massachussetts;one sister,Mrs. Anna Walters of Kane,three brothers;Lloyd Hulings of Tiona,James Hulings of Clarendon,and Albert Hulings of Erie;four grandchildren;five great grandchildren;and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband,Merle H. Dahle on July 7,1962;two brothers,Leo and Floyd Hulings;and one sister,Loretta Hulings.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home from 7-9 PM Tuessday, and a funeral service will be held there at 1 PM Wednesday witht he Rev.Herb Gates of the Stoneham Methodist Church,officiating.Burial will be in Warren County Memorial Park.
